Sultan Akimbekov’s book «Kazakhstan in the Russian Empire»

The Institute is grateful to the “Center for political analysis PR” for the gift of the book by Sultan Akimbekov ” Kazakhstan in the Russian Empire» in an amount of 30 copies. This book is devoted to the history of Kazakhstan as part of the Russian Empire. It covers the period from the beginning of the XVIII century, when the first relations of dependence of Kazakhs on Russia and the first relevant agreements were drawn up before the revolution of 1917. The book examines various aspects of interaction between Kazakhstan and Russia in the context of their common history, including the formation of addiction, the process of modernization and the land question, and many others.
