Ch. Ch. Valikhanov Institute of history and ethnology of the Committee of the science of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, August 29, 2020 plans to hold an online round table on the topic “the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: the key to stability and peace”. The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted on August 30, 1995 on the basis of a national referendum, and came into force in September. The Constitution consists of 9 sections and 98 articles. Looking back, the Constitution in Kazakhstan was first adopted in 1924, and later in 1937, 1978, 1993, and 1995 it was adopted in writing.
The event will highlight the reasons, problems of modern understanding and the main factors of the adoption of the first Constitution of independent Kazakhstan on January 28, 1993 and the re-adoption of the Constitution in 1995.
