PROMINENT ETHNOLOGIST S.E. AZHIGALI WAS AWARDED THE ORDER “PARASAT” BY THE DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN 


On the eve of the national holiday – the Republic Day, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.-Zh.K. Tokayev, for merits in state and public activities, a significant contribution to the socio-economic and cultural development of the country, strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples, the order “Parasat” was awarded to the chief researcher of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor – Serik Eskendirovich Azhigali, who made a significant contribution to the development of the current direction of ethnology – “Kazakh monument studies”.
