A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology and the Museum of Memory of Victims of Political Repression in Dolinka 


On November 21, 2022, at the Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, the Director of the Institute, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Z.E. Kabuldinov signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Museum of Memory of Victims of Political Repression in the village of Dolinka of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Karaganda region, represented by the head of S.K. Baynova.

The Museum of Memory of the Victims of Political Repression of P. Dolinka was established in 2002. A part of the Dolinka outpatient clinic building was allocated for the museum (the former Karlag facility is a polyclinic for freelancers). Since 2010, it has been located in the building of the former Karlag NKVD Directorate. 

Based on the memorandum, the parties plan to implement work on the development of joint research projects and programs.
