On November 28, 2022, in the Central Scientific Library of the «Gylym Ordasy» building, scientists of the Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, with the participation of the State Adviser of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.T. Karin, reviewed the preparation of the 7-volume academic publication «History of Kazakhstan from Ancient Times to the present Day» and the popular science book «A Brief History of Kazakhstan from Ancient Times to the Present Day (for a foreign audience)».

The meeting, chaired by State Councilor E.T. Karin, was attended by: Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education T.I. Yeshenkulov, Head of the Secretariat of the State Adviser of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.S. Samitov, Deputy Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education D.R. Orynbekov, Director of the Ch.Ch.Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the NAS RK Z.E. Kabuldinov, Director General of the A. Margulan Institute of Archaeology, PhD A. Ongar, Director of the Republican Center for the Study of Historical Materials of the R.B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies, corresponding member of the NAS RK, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor M.H. Abuseitova, director of the center for the development of a 7-volume publication, Candidate of Historical Sciences A.S. Ualtayeva, as well as a group of scientists, involved in the preparation of volumes. At the meeting, reports of scientific supervisors and coordinators of volumes 7 of the volume on the progress of their development were heard.

In the future, scientific work will be continued.

The academic edition is scheduled to be released in September 2023.
