IN THE NORTHERN AND NORTHEASTERN REGIONS OF THE COUNTRY, FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT IN THE DIRECTION OF HISTORICAL AND ETHNOLOGY.

It is true that in connection with some geopolitical conditions of the modern world, it is necessary to conduct deep historical research in the northern and northeastern regions of Kazakhstan. Because it is no secret that in recent times, various negative and provocative thoughts and opinions of some politicians of some countries have been taking place in connection with these regions.

Therefore, branches of our institute began to be built in these regional centers. Last year, branches of the Institute were opened in Astana and Kyzylzhar, as well as in neighboring Kyrgyzstan, and now, with the support of the Ministry of Science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it was allowed to open a branch of the Institute at Kokshetau State University named after Shokan Ualikhanov in Kokshetau.

We thank such citizens of the country as Minister Sayasat Nurbek, Chairman of the Science Committee Ahmed-Zaki Darkhan Zhumakanovich, qualified head of this university Syrlybaev Marat Kadyrovich, for supporting this initiative, which will contribute to the further development of the nation, paying special attention to the branch, its equipment, and personnel issues.

It is very significant that the regional university and our Institute is named after Shokan Genghisovich Valikhanov, who is the pride of the Kazakh people, a great personality of national history. Two centers – science and education, will work tirelessly on the implementation of many historical studies.
