From November 1 to November 4, 2023, at the site of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, ISISS RAS and “Skoltech”, the Academic Forum of young scientists from the countries of Greater Eurasia “Continent of Science” was held. This event is held annually and is part of a large program to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Representing a unique communication platform for talented academic youth of Eurasian countries to exchange experience, establish new professional contacts and explore the possibility of conducting joint research, the forum was intended to become a platform for the formation of a single continent-wide Eurasian scientific space.

PhD doctor, head of the department of history of Kazakhstan of the twentieth century, Zakarya Rakhmetolla, took part in the forum, where he made a report “European migrants evacuated to Kazakhstan during the Great Patriotic War.” At the academic forum, he exchanged views with young scientists from Indonesia, Russia, Armenia, Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. At the closing ceremony of the forum, R. Zakarya was presented with a certificate of participation.
