A MEETING WAS HELD WITH THE DELEGATION OF THE KYRGYZ NATIONAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER ZH. BALASAGYN OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC


On April 19, 2024, the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov was visited by a delegation of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn of the Kyrgyz Republic consisting of 17 students specializing in historical archivist and 3 teachers.

The main purpose of the visit of the delegation is the establishment of a link between scientific and cultural cooperation, professional partnership between learned stories and young specialists of two related countries.

The delegation visited the archive of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The first president of the Academy of science of the Kazakh SSR, the Academy of science of the Kazakh SSR Kanysh Imantayevich Satpayeva, spoke at the beginning of the 125th anniversary of the birth of the first president of the Academy of science of the Kazakh SSR. Further, the work of the archive was presented, as documents are covered, the problems of information and the topics of archival documents.

After the archive of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Institute there was a round table “The intelligentsia at the beginning of the twentieth century: activities, destinies, legacy”, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the independence, political activity of the Turkestan region Seraly Lapina, posted on this date.

The round table was attended by colleagues from the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, and our colleagues from the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The following reports were prepared and discussed at the round table. Chief expert of the General Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov, leading researcher, Candidate of Historical Sciences Shashaev Auezkhan Kadirzhanovich in a report on the topic “Activities of the Kazakh and Kyrgyz intelligentsia in the Society for the study of Kazakhstan”. He spoke in detail about the educational activities of the Kazakh and Kyrgyz intelligentsia. Then Elmira Zharylkasynovna Azretbergenova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior lecturer at the Department of History of Kazakhstan in Antiquity and the Middle Ages of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, made a presentation on the topic “Life, social activities, creative heritage of Seraly Lapin” and she told about the life and work of Serala Lapin. Deputy Director General for Science of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov, Candidate of Historical Sciences Tleubaev Shamek Bayanovich made a presentation on the topic “On the activities of the Kyrgyz educator Dur Saurambayev at the beginning of the XX century”.  The report touched upon the general issues of the Kazakh and Kyrgyz enlightenment of the early twentieth century, the activities of the Kyrgyz educator Dura Saurambayev. Senior lecturer of the Department of General History of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn Torogeldieva Elvira Esenbolovna “Activity of the Kyrgyz intelligentsia in the 20-30s. XX century (historical analysis)” told about the Kyrgyz intelligentsia of the 20-30s of the XX century about their activities, ways of life, and works. The next speaker was a senior researcher at the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Orazov Rashid Yeshenovich on the topic “Public political activity of Kazakh-Kyrgyz children who have fully graduated from the Verny gymnasium”. The report noted the activities of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz intelligentsia who graduated from the Vernensky Gymnasium, researcher at the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Konkabayeva Arailym Nurbolatovna in her report “On the activities of the Kyrgyz intellectual Kassymbay Teltayev” I considered the life path of Kassymbai Teltai, about his activities, etc.

A tour of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan was also organized, where historical and cultural exhibits were presented.

The guests of honor received fundamental research papers. As a result of the meeting, ties between young scientists of the two countries were strengthened and valuable proposals were offered for the joint implementation of scientific projects and events.
