Leading researcher of the Institute of history and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Ualikhanov, Ph. D. Kaipbaeva A. T. from May 12 to 21, 2024 carried out scientific work on the project “Contribution of D. A. Kunaev to the socio – economic development of Kazakhstan and the preservation of the territorial integrity of the Republic”.

Objective: to conduct research work in scientific and cultural institutions within the framework of the project theme, as well as in the 1960s and 1980s. Identification of materials related to the issues of agrarian and diplomatic relations of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, relations between the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan D. A. Kunaev and the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan Sh.R. Rashidov and the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan I. Karimov, visits of D. A. Kunaev to Uzbekistan, etc. Also, the Statesman D. A. Collection of memories of the people on the basis of interviews about kunaev from public figures of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Kazakh diaspora who saw his eyes.

In this regard, the work done (according to the instructions): I. National Library of the Republic of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navai; II. Library of the National University named after Mirza Ulugbek; III. from the foundation of the fundamental library of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan; IV. Kazakh national cultural center of Uzbekistan; V. Tashkent branch of the International Fund of D. A. Kunaev; VI.international public fund named after sh. Rashidov; VII. scientific and Educational Complex of I. Karimov; VIII. copies of materials and books were obtained from the Historical Museum of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

In addition, organizational work was carried out within the framework of establishing partnerships with scientific institutions. In particular, a meeting was held at the International Public Foundation named after sh. Rashidov and the Kazakh national cultural center of Uzbekistan. As a result, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between these institutions and the Ualikhanov Institute of history and Ethnology.
