On May 29, 2024, the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov was visited by a delegation of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn of the Kyrgyz Republic consisting of 16 students specializing in historical science and 4 teachers.
The main purpose of the visit of the delegation is the establishment of a link between scientific and cultural cooperation, professional partnership between learned stories and young specialists of two related countries.
During the meeting of the guests, was organizedan an excursion to Kok-Tobe Park , where topical issues of the history of the two countries were discussed in outdoors in the teambuilding format. The participants of the meeting expressed concern about the recent political and economic changes in the world, stressing that in the context of an increasingly complicated global political situation, it is important for two close countries that their fraternal peoples live in peace and harmony, strengthening historical cultural, economic and political ties.
During the conversation, was noted that the Kazakh and Kyrgyz peoples have a common history and language. Special attention was paid to the fact that in troubled times fraternal peoples should support and help each other. In the future, planned to hold talks with Kyrgyz scientists on joint research and strengthening scientific ties between historians of the two countries. The teambuilding in nature ended with a collective photo session for memory.
Also was organized a tour to the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where kept historical and cultural exhibits related to the common Turkic history.
The guests of honor received fundamental research papers. As a result of the meeting, ties between young scientists of the two countries were strengthened and valuable proposals were offered for the joint implementation of scientific projects and events.
