From September 17 to October 1, 2024, the leading researcher of the Institute of history and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Ualikhanov, Ph.D. A.T. Kaipbaeva carried out a scientific trip to Bishkek, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, within the framework of the implementation of a research project on grant funding “the problem of child homelessness in the territory of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries in the 1920s – 1930s”. The purpose of the scientific trip is to study the peculiarities of the placement of homeless Kazakh children in the archives and library funds of Bishkek in the Soviet period, that is, as a result of the Famine of 1920-1930, Stalin’s repressions, who were forced to move to neighboring countries (including Kyrgyzstan), and their fate. In addition, the activities of institutions that raise children of national minorities (Natsmen) are the study, examination and full-fledged collection of new data on the topic, etc.
In Bishkek, the central state archive of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Central State Archive of socio-political documentation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic named after A. Osmanov conducted activities based on data and scientific research. In this regard, in Kazakhstan in the 20-30s of the last century. archival documents related to the history of forced refugees of Kazakhs, which occurred as a result of mass famine, were identified, copies of valuable materials were obtained on the basis of dissertations, collections of archival documents, monographs and Press Media.
In addition, organizational work was carried out within the framework of partnership with scientific institutions. In particular, the meeting with the doctor of technical sciences, professor Kurmanov Z.K. was concluded with the presentation of scientific works and the exchange of views on joint scientific contacts within the framework of the scientific project.
