The General Director of the Ch. Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and Professor Z. E. Kabuldinov held a meeting with Mr. Hossein Aghazadeh, Attaché of the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the work accomplished this year by the historians’ communities of the two countries and exchanged views on events planned for the next year.
Additionally, Mr. Hossein Aghazadeh expressed his support for the initiative proposed by the Institute’s Director, Z. E. Kabuldinov, to create a textbook on the concise history of Kazakhstan in Persian. He also announced readiness to send young people studying Persian to Iran for a 2-3 week language internship and confirmed his full support for Z. E. Kabuldinov’s proposal to hold a joint scientific event next year.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Hossein Aghazadeh familiarized himself with the activities of the Institute and expressed his gratitude for the work accomplished. The parties exchanged books and agreed on further fruitful cooperation.
