Methodological seminar “Cities of Kazakhstan in the 1920s–1930s as a Socio-Cultural Phenomenon: Ethno-Demographic and Socio-Cultural Development”


On April 16, 2025, the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov held a methodological seminar to summarize the interim results of the research activities of the team members of the scientific project “Cities of Kazakhstan in the 1920s–1930s as a Socio-Cultural Phenomenon: Ethno-Demographic and Socio-Cultural Development.”

Presentations on the outcomes of their research work were delivered by A.T. Abdulina, A.I. Kudaibergenova, A.S. Ualtaeva, K.V. Cherepanov, T.A. Apendiyev, G.A. Omarova, and A.S. Morgulan.

In addition, a report titled “Methodology for Searching and Collecting Sources on the Activities of Local Authorities in Northern Kazakhstan during the Period of Collectivization” was presented by Sh.T. Bektasov, a doctoral student from Kokshetau University named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov.

The seminar was held in an engaged, friendly, and productive atmosphere and concluded with an exchange of views and summarizing the outcomes of the work.
