We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the scientific and practical conference “1925 ZHYL: ULT MURATY SHYNDAGAN KAIRATKERLIK,” dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman and public figure, journalist, writer, and literary critic Smagul Saduakassuly

The event took place on May 16, 2025, in Astana.

The event program included:
• 08:00-09:00 – A visit to S. Saduakassuly’s grave and the planting of tree seedlings in the Zhashtar microdistrict, at the Karaotkel cemetery.
• 10:00-13:00 – The plenary session of the conference, held in the President’s Auditorium of the main building of the Eurasian National University.
• 13:00-14:30 – A lunch break, which included a meal dedicated to the memory of S. Saduakassuly and Alash figures, at the Turan Restaurant.
• 15:00-16:30 – The ceremony of transferring the granite reliquary containing the remains of S. Saduakassuly, which had been preserved in Moscow for 77 years, to the National Museum.
• 17:30-18:30 – A meeting titled “Birtuar Tulganyn Eldik Amanaty” at Secondary School-Gymnasium No. 78 named after S. Saduakassuly in Astana.
The conference served as an important platform for discussing the state, historical, journalistic, economic, and literary aspects of Smagul Saduakassuly’s activities. We thank all speakers, participants, and organizers for their contributions to the successful realization of this significant event.
