within the framework of the state-funded project (AP23489366) on the topic: “Imperial Discourse Related to the Peasant Colonization of the Kazakh Region: Composition of Subjects and Directions of the Object (Second Half of the 19th Century – 1917)”
Purpose of the Event
To explore the content of the imperial discourse on key issues of the colonization of Kazakhstan during the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries, which had a significant impact on the process of “peasantization” of the region.
The discussion will address the ideology, policies, factors, approaches, and mechanisms underlying the imperial policy of peasant colonization.
