On December 24, 2025, the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch. Ch. Valikhanov will hold the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “Philosophy, History and Civilization: The Legacy of Academician Kishibekov Dosmukhambet,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh philosopher, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Dosmukhambet Kishibekov.
The purpose of the conference is to study the scholarly legacy of D.K. Kishibekov, who made a significant contribution to the development of national philosophy and historical sciences; to discuss contemporary spiritual, cultural, and socio-philosophical issues; and to ensure continuity of traditions in Kazakhstani scholarship.
Main areas of the conference:
- National idea and the spiritual foundation in the legacy of D.K. Kishibekov;
- Current issues of historical and philosophical sciences in Kazakhstan;
- Modern philosophical and historical knowledge: continuity and innovation;
- New humanism and national values;
- Socio-philosophical and cultural-civilizational problems.
We invite scholars, experts, doctoral and master’s students, as well as undergraduate students, to participate in the Republican scientific and practical conference “Philosophy, History and Civilization: The Legacy of Academician Kishibekov Dosmukhambet.”
