A scientific definition of the state status of the khaganate, the system of power created by the Turgesh, is given. For example, it has been clarified that He kang in the historical records of China is the Turkic equivalent of the “khaganate”. It is proved that in 692 AD, Chu, Talas, Turgesh region of the Turgesh khaganate were designated in Chinese as “Su ye”, the khaganate ruled Central Asia from 692 to 766. Having proved that Turkic tribes inhabited the cities of Kulan, Tashkent, Semizkent-Samarqant, Ozkent, Suyab, Shu, among the large and small towns along the Zhibek Zholy, thereby refuting the opinion that “Kazakhs, nomads migrating Turks who did not live in the city, did not build cities.” The purpose was to mark the necessary results of the history of the Turgesh Khaganate for today and tomorrow of independent Kazakhstan.
