The Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology has successfully passed the state accreditation as a subject of scientific and scientific-technical activity for a five-year period

The accreditation certificate was issued by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 9 July 2026 in accordance with Article 27 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Science and Technological Policy.”

State accreditation is a mandatory procedure for research organizations. It confirms that the Institute fully complies with the national requirements for conducting scientific and scientific-technical activities. The accreditation is conducted once every five years and serves as an important recognition of the Institute’s scientific capacity and research excellence.

The accreditation certificate entitles the Institute to participate in competitive calls for research and scientific-technical projects, research programs, and commercialization projects funded by the state budget, international organizations and foundations, private entities, and non-governmental organizations.

The successful completion of the regular state accreditation once again confirms that the Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology meets the highest standards required of leading research institutions and continues to play a significant role in the development of historical science in Kazakhstan.
