Biography

Kaipbayeva A.T. was born on January 19, 1978 in Ashchisay village, Enbekshikazakh district, Almaty region. In 1995, she graduated with honors from the Ch.Ch. Valikhanov secondary school. Since 1995 she lives in Almaty.

Higher education

1995-1999 – Kazakh State Women’s Pedagogical Institute. Major in “History and Law”, by the decision of the State Examination Commission of June 22, 1999, qualified as a teacher of history and law (Diploma ЖВ No. 0008693) (diploma with honors).

By the decision of the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 26, 2006 (minutes No. 5), the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences was awarded (Diploma КН No. 0001168), thesis topic: “Life and public and state activities of Ilyas Omarov “.

By the decision of the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 19, 2017 (Order No. 1077), the academic rank of Associate Professor was awarded (Diploma No. 0000284).

Professional experience:

From 2019 to the present – ​​Leading Researcher, Head of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies and Modern Methodology at the Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology (since 2020). Executive editor of the International electronic scientific journal “edu.e-history.kz” included in the list of the Committee for Control in the field of Education and Science (KOKSON) of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

2013-2019 – KazGosZhenPU, head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

2004-2013 – KazGosZhenPU, senior lecturer, acting Associate Professor (2008) at the Department of History of Kazakhstan

2000-2004 – KazGosZhenPU, Lecturer at the Department of General Educational Disciplines, Deputy Dean for Educational Work (September 2001 – April 2004).

Rewards:

Awarded with a “Certificate of Honor” for her contribution to education and achievements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the path of spiritual and social development of Independent Kazakhstan. 2011

Research interests:

Personalistics; socio-political situation and cultural life of Kazakhstan in the 20th century.

Kaipbayeva A.T. was a performer in 4 research projects, of which the leader in the project “The system of secular education and enlightenment in the policy of modernization of traditional Kazakh society in the 1920-1930s.

Publications: author of more than 70 articles and reviews published in domestic and foreign editions (including 4 articles in the Scopus and Thompson Reuters databases), 2 textbooks, 4 study guides, 1 monograph (including 1 collective monograph).
