Researcher at the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch. Ch. Valikhanov Sarkenova K. A. from June 25 to July 15, 2022 was on a scientific trip to Moscow (Russia). The visit took place within the framework of the project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “History of Atyrau region. From ancient times to the present day,” the grant funding of which was carried out as part of the implementation of a scientific project.
The purpose of the scientific trip was to accumulate materials related to the topic of scientific research in the archives and library collections of Russia located in Moscow, and to obtain copies of these collected materials. As a result, research work was carried out in the State Archive of the Economy of Russia in In Moscow, the State Archive of the Russian Federation (GARF), the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History (RGASPI), the Russian State Military History (RGVIA), as well as in the Russian State Library (RSE), orders for the necessary funds were given, photocopies of a number of information were presented.
In Moscow, together with the scientific staff of the Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, A. Shashaev, N. Kurmanalina, Z. Baizhumanova, A. Konkabayeva and Professor of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University G. Mukanova, a wreath was laid at the Don Cemetery, where figures Alikhan Bokeikhan and N.Nurmakov, who were shot in the 1937 in Moscow. Also in Moscow there was a visit to the monuments of the outstanding Kazakh poet Abai, 28 Panfilovs who died heroically in 1941 during the defense of the city of Moscow.
During the visit, a group of historians from Almaty met with scientists from Atyrau State University in Moscow and exchanged views.
