The staff of the Institute of History and Ethnologists named after Ch. Ch. Valikhanov congratulates PhD Doctor in History Zakarya Rakhmetollah on his appointment to the post of head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan of the XX century.

Rakhmetollah Zakarya since 01.09.2019 worked at the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch. Ch. Valikhanov. In 2017, he graduated from the master’s degree in academic mobility at the University of Bologna (Bologna, Italy).

July 4, 2023 defended his PhD dissertation on the topic “The policy of Soviet power towards European emigrants and immigrants (20-40 – years of the 20th century)” at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, majoring in 8D02206 – history.

The Institute congratulates Rakhmetollah Zakarya on the post of head of the department of history of Kazakhstan of the XX century.
