Leading researcher of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh.Sh. Valikhanov, Candidate of Historical Sciences A.K. Shashaev, Scientific Secretary N.N. Kurmanalina from August 1 to August 15, 2023 carried out a scientific trip under the grant financing project “Educational activities of public organizations of Kazakhstan in the first quarter of the twentieth century”.
The purpose of the scientific trip is to identify, collect, and scientifically process materials in the collections of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books of the ISS RK.
Research and search work in the specified archive was carried out according to fund No. 83 “Collection of copies of documents from archives, libraries and scientific institutions of foreign countries” according to the following cases:
- 56. Reports on the work of the presidium of the Comacademy, institutes of the section, society, commissions, publishing house and library for January-November 1927, report on reports for 1926-1927;
- 57. Minutes of the meetings of the Bureau of the Presidium of the Komakademia. January 3 – December 22, 1928;
- 58. Minutes of the meetings of the bureau of commissions for the study of the Ntsvoprosa at the Komacademy and Documents to them. 25 kantar – 4 kazan 1928;
- 59. Annual reports on the work of the Institute for 1926-1928 .
As a result of the work in the archives, photocopies of sheets of individual cases were made, which highlight the issues of the project under study.
Scientific work was carried out in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Work has been carried out to search, identify and copy electronic publications covering certain issues of educational activities of public organizations in Kazakhstan in the first quarter of the twentieth century, such as: “Sauat mektepterin programalary. Ana tili, Arithmetic (Kala men auyl mektepterine) / ed. A. Alibayev.– 2-basylym. – Kyzyl-Orda: Kazakhstan baspasy, 1935. – 22 b.”, “Kazakhstan sauatsyzdykty zhoyu zhymysy turaly Lenin decree 16 zhyl toluyna arnalgan Almaty kalalalyk sovietin plenumynagi bayandamasy, 1935. 26 dec. Zhurgenov T. – Almaty: Kazakhstan baspasy, 1935”, etc. Among them are individual articles of the pre-revolutionary and Soviet periods, pamphlets, books, periodicals, etc.
In general, photocopies and electronic versions of materials (books, articles, etc.) concerning the educational activities of public organizations of Kazakhstan in the first quarter of the twentieth century were purchased in the amount of 30 units.
More than 60 books from the collections of the Center for Rare Books and Manuscripts were identified on the subject of the study, copies were purchased and a bibliographic fund was compiled. The work on the compilation of the structure of the collective monograph, the choice of method, identification of sources was carried out. Copies of 50 sheets were purchased from the funds of the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Archive of the Akmola region, the city archive of Astana. A large number of cases from 1,2 lists of funds of the State Archive of Astana P-98, P-116, P-123, P-272, P-351 (each folder contains at least 4000 sheets), the state archive of Akmola region (located in the city of Kokshetau) were considered): 67, 69, 1304, 145 – cases were considered in the funds, photocopies of the necessary sheets were made.
