COOPERATION HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN THE FIELD OF MONGOLIAN-KAZAKH HISTORICAL SCIENCES


Scientific staff of the Institute of history and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov, in particular, deputy director for External Relations of the Institute candidate of historical sciences, PhD Zh.Zh. Zhenis, as well as researchers of the Department of history of Kazakhstan and adjacent countries in ancient and medieval times, candidate of historical sciences, Zh. Oshan and E. Saurkan from August 24 to September 4 visited the Mongolian People’s Republic.

On the first day of the visit, the director of the Institute of history and Ethnology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Tsegmed Tserendorzh, explained the main purpose of the trip, conveyed greetings and suggestions from the director of the Institute, doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Z.E. Kabuldinov. At the same time, after discussing the suggestions made by our institute, Dr. TS. Tserendorzh proposed the topic of 3 joint scientific projects from the Mongolian side. In addition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with our institute.

The next part of the scientific trip was continued in the State Archives of Mongolia, the Genghis Khan Museum, the UNESCO Center for the study of nomadic civilization, the Bayan-Olgiy Regional Department of culture and the Tonykok monument complex in Ulan-Bator and the exhibition of monuments of Kultegin, Bilge Kagan in the Karakurum steppe and the museums of Genghis Khan in the Hentei region.

According to the plan of the trip, fresh archival data and historical images related to various periods of history and historical figures of the country were obtained, which were never published before. At the same time, scientific works published in the two countries were exchanged. During the scientific trip, the scientific institutions of Mongolia were presented with the results of the Institute of history and Ethnology named after sh. We also agreed to publish the works of Mongolian historians in the scientific publications “history of the Fatherland”, “e-history”, published at our institute, articles by scientists of our institute in the Bulletin of the Institute of history and Ethnology of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia and the Center for the study of nomadic civilization of the UNESCO organization “Nomad studies”.
