to Kyzylorda (RK) within the framework of the project “Cities of Kazakhstan in the 20-30s of the XX century as a socio-cultural phenomenon: ethno-demographic and socio-cultural development”

From October 15 to 21, 2023, a researcher at the Department of Historical Demography and the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Murzakhodjaev Kuanysh Madievich carried out a research trip on the grant project “Cities of Kazakhstan in the 20-30s of the XX century as a socio-cultural phenomenon: ethno-demographic and socio-cultural development” and worked in the funds The State Archive of the Kyzylorda region (GAKO).

In accordance with the tasks of the official assignment during the scientific trip, work was carried out to identify documents on the topic of the scientific project from the funds of the above archive. In particular, during the work, the files of the funds of the State Archive of the Kyzylorda region were reviewed: for example: fund R-885 – (Copies of documents relating to the history of the Kyzylorda region identified in the archives of the CIS (Moscow, Orenburg, Tashkent) and the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 1734-1938

Currently, work is underway to systematize the collected archival materials for use in writing a collective monograph and preparing collections of documents on the project.
