On November 2, 2023, a cooperation agreement was concluded between the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh.Sh. Ualikhanov and the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. The signing of the agreement was attended by the Uzbek side – Vice-Rector of the University for International Relations Raisa Khakimovna Shirinova, Head of the Department of Anthropology and Ethnology Akbar Davurbaevich Bababekov, and from the Kazakh side – Deputy Director for Public Relations Aksunkar Tursunovna Abdulina and researcher Malika Temirkhanovna Moryakova. It is planned to organize joint scientific research on problems of history and ethnology, as well as mutual scientific internships for master’s and doctoral students from both institutions.
