On April 3, 2024, the Science Committee of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly organized by the Institute of history and Ethnology named after Sh.Sh. Ualikhanov, the archive of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and religious studies held an international scientific and theoretical conference «The phenomenon of Academician K.I. Satbayev and domestic science of the XX century: modern principles and problems of interdisciplinary research», dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the first president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR Kanysh Imantayevich Satbayev.
The conference was attended by well-known foreign scientists, domestic historians, public figures and young scientists. The conference was opened with the opening speech of Kabyldinov Ziyabek Yermukanovich, general director of the Institute of history and Ethnology named after Sh.Sh. Ualikhanov, doctor of historical sciences, professor, member-correspondent of NAS RK. First of all, the conference was attended by: Chairman of the board – Rector of Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov – Yerkin Tokmukhamedovich Sadykov; President of the International Academy of Chingiz Aitmatov, doctor of philology, professor, academician – Abdyldazhan Amanturovich Akmataliyev; head of the Department of the Memorial Museum named after academician K. I. Satpayev – Bakhytzhamal Akhmetgalievna Aitmukhambetova and others.
During the plenary session, the speakers were: head of the Department of new history of the Institute of history, archeology and Ethnography named after A. Donish of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor (Tajikistan)-Gafurov Abdullo Mutilloevich made a report on the topic «Vklad Akademika K. I. Satpayeva in the development of geological science in Tajikistan». The report focused on the contribution of Tajik scientists to the field of geology, including the achievements of K.I. Satpayev in the field of geology. The next speaker of the Kazakhstan branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University, doctor of historical sciences, professor – Orazbayeva Altay Iranbekovna in her report on the topic «personality as a modern research strategy (on the example of the personality of Academician K. Satbayev)» said that the founder of professional Kazakh science, the first academician of our nation, whose scientific heritage will be spiritual food for many generations of our domestic scientists. It is undeniable that from the point of view of the paradigm of personality studies, the philosophy of history requires a deep and extensive analysis. Chief researcher of the Institute of Russian history of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of historical sciences, professor – Amanzholova Dina Akhmetzhanovna in the report «personification of history: research practices and practices» spoke about the significant work of the founder of the Kazakh School of metallogeny Kanysh Satpayev in science, which contributed to the development of the country, and other issues. General Director of the Institute of history and Ethnology named after sh.sh. Ualikhanov, doctor of historical sciences, professor, member-correspondent of the NAS RK – Kabyldinov Ziyabek Yermukanovich presented his report on «Academician K. I. Satbayev is a world – famous scientist and the largest organizer of Science in Kazakhstan» in the form of a slide, focused on the life and work of the scientist, analyzed some problems and importance of personality studies in domestic historical science.
