Biography: Born on April 17, 1972 in the village of Karatogan, Raiymbek district, Almaty region, in a family of workers. In 1979-1989 studied at the secondary school. N. Umirzakova.

Higher: education

In 1996-2000 studied at the Faculty of History of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi majoring in history with a bachelor’s degree course, in 2000-2002. in the magistracy of this faculty, graduated with honors.

In 2016-2019, he studied for a doctorate at the Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology of KazNU. al-Farabi. In 2019, he completed a research internship at M. Sinam University in Istanbul (Turkey).

Professional experience:

From September 2002 to the present, he has been a senior researcher at the Department of the History of Modern Times of Kazakhstan at the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov. Scientific experience of 20 years.

Scientific interests:

The main scientific direction of Orazov R.E. is the study of the history of Kazakhstan of modern times. The historical moments of the colonization of Kazakhstan by the Russian Empire in the 19th century and the issues of the national liberation uprising led by Syzdyk Kenesarin are studied in more detail. In order to collect materials related to the new time of Kazakhstan, he regularly works in the archives of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Orenburg, Omsk, Tobolsk (Russia) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and introduces new data into scientific circulation.

Publications:

Author of 2 monographs and 20 collections of documents and materials related to this period. Published more than 200 scientific articles in scientific journals and press.
