1. The history of the activity of the Turkestan Legion during the Second World War was studied to establish an algorithm for its evolution based on the analysis of archival sources. The number, composition and activities of the Turkestan Legion were determined. Based on the analysis of archival sources, the composition and purpose of the battalions of the Turkestan Legion were revealed in order to establish an algorithm for its evolution.
2. The orders, orders and correspondence of the Commander of the volunteer formations were studied, on the basis of the analysis of which the directions of activity of the Turkestan Legion were determined. Based on the study of the staff materials of the battalions of the Turkestan Legion, the history of the creation of the battalions, the number and national composition of the Turkestan Legion are determined.
